THE BOY WHO DREW CATS

In Japan there was a poor farmer were living in the countryside him and his wife had several children. From day to day, their children got older and their children helped them to work hard but parents were scarce to support them. Even thought, they were good work-hard. A youngest child did not do everything because he is small and weak and he could not grow up but he was very clever than his brothers and sisters.

The Parents though that they want the little boy become a priest than the farmer. One day, Parents decided to take the boy to the temple. after the met the priest who lived in the temple and asked him that if the little boy could be his assistant and if he could educate their son and teach the boy how to be a priest.

The priest thought this question for a while and asked the boy some questions that were so hard to answer but the boy answer were very good so the priest agreed to take him to assistant.

The boy was clever so he learned quickly and he understood everything that the priest taught him but the boy had one mistake he love to draw cats. When he had free time and was alone he always drew the cats on the screen in the temple and everywhere that he could draw the cats. Even thought the priest told him again and again that the boy drew cats all over the place. The boy was not only listen the priest   but also went on to draw the cats.

One day the boy drew more pictures of cats on a large screen in the temple so when the priest looked at the pictures and he spoke to the boy. “You must leave this temple at now you are possible to become to a good priest. But perhaps you could be a great artist. The priest advice to the boy that. Stay away from large places at night and stay in small places! ” .

The boy did not understand what the priest meant and he tied up his bundle of clothes and prepares to leave.

He did not know what to do. If he went home his parents would blame him. So the boy was afraid to go home and he remembered that there was a large temple in the next village, 12 miles away so he should ask them if he could be their assistant.

When he got to a large village it was night so all people asleep but he saw the temple and he saw light coming from inside the temple.

He arrived at the temple and looked forward to meeting the priests and he went up to the temple and listened at the door but no sound and he knocked on the door again and again, wait but no answered, so he decided to pushed the door and he went in and looked around but no priests . He wondered why here was so dusty.

THE GOLDEN TOUCH (Summary)

The King Midas Story, Midas was a rich and powerful king who loves gold more than anything. Midas wishes that everything in his palace will turn to gold. When he dreamed and wished that he wanted everything will turn to gold when he touched it. The stranger was in his dream indicated that “Are you sure that your wish would make you happy” and “Are you would never regret that you asked for it” Midas said “It would bring me perfect happiness”.

The stranger said that “Tomorrow, when the sun comes up, everything that you touch will turn to gold. Good-bye for now”.

He go to the window and looked outside he saw the sky was still grey. Suddenly the sun was sunlight reached into the palace, so he decided to touch bed, book, mirror and other it returned to gold. He went down stair into the garden he touched the roses it returned to gold.

After day Midas was very, very hungry, suddenly, his daughter was crying and she thought that why the rose returned to gold. Midas said that “my dear girl, don’t cry you can get hundreds of roses for one made of gold. Now let us have breakfast.”

 The king reached for an egg, glass and his lips. It changed to gold he sat at the table, bewildered and stunned. His daughter said “what is the matter” she jumped out of her chair and hurried to comfort the king and the king kissed her head and after she had turned to gold. The king cried “what have I done”.

The stranger told the king that you can clear Golden Touch by sprinkle the water over your golden touch it will back.

The king went without saying He hurried to the river and plunged in the water and he filled a pitcher with water and rushed back to the palace he sprinkled the water on his daughter, she came back to life. and all the golden touch turned back like last times.
